SATURDAY, 17 MARCH 2018 (recap) - Community Service Day

Community Service Day was planned and organized in collaboration with NGO, South African Youth Chamber of Commerce (SAYCC), Tshwane University of Technology, Digital Opportunity Trust and IBM.


   

The programme was themed around "Using Technology for new Entrepreneurs" for the target audience of would be graduates and new entrepreneurs. The topics were -

  1. The evolution of Technology and Internet, and how they affected our lives
  2. Using internet  to market your business
  3. Entrepreneurship
  4. Inspiring Confidence
  5. The Difference Between Universities and the Industry
  6. Negotiation Skills
  7. Decision Making
  8. Team building

The sessions were interactive. There were questions answers and tips around "what to do" in "this kind of a situation". Guidelines and resources around to explore were shared. There was an enlightenment seen in the audience. Truly! an experience it was!
